Overview
William Krents (Will) is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Boston office and a member of the global Industrial Practice. With 15 years of international leadership experience in the chemicals and advanced materials industry, Will leverages his vast industry knowledge and network to help clients appoint board, CEO, president, and other senior-level executives.
Experience
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Will was the global director of business development at Cabot Corporation, a leading producer of specialty chemicals and advanced materials. In addition to his most recent business development role, Will held roles of increasing responsibilities in marketing, sales, strategy, and product development at Cabot.
Previously, Will worked with WR Grace, joining the company through its global leadership development program. There he spent time in Shanghai China leading Grace’s Asia Pacific M&A activities before taking on a global marketing management role.
Will began his career at Credit Suisse in Hong Kong, where he was part of the equity capital markets team. He is a proficient Mandarin speaker, having lived and studied in China for many years.
