LeadersOnline Takes eCruiting Experience to Europe with Andersen Consulting Assignment; Deal Paves the Way for Future International Contracts
IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 22, 2000--LeadersOnline(TM) (Leaders!), a leading Web-based eCruiting solution from Heidrick & Struggles International (Nasdaq:HSII), has been retained by Andersen Consulting, a global leader in management and technology consulting, to support the firm's recruitment efforts in Germany.
The agreement capitalizes on the strengths and synergies of two recognized leaders in the digital economy. Focused on placing mid-level managers and emerging executive talent, Leaders! combines Heidrick & Struggles' best executive recruiting practices with the efficiency of the Internet.
Similarly, Andersen Consulting has established an Internet presence to provide the world's foremost global e-commerce consulting capabilities. The firm recently realized 200 percent growth in its e-commerce revenues year-over-year, totaling $1.5 billion in 1999.
The deal with Andersen Consulting's German office marks Leaders!' first venture into the international market and paves the way for a future presence in the growing markets of Europe, Asia and Latin America.
