Heidrick & Struggles Names Cruel World's Jeffrey Hyman As Chief Operating Officer of LeadersOnline
CHICAGO, Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Heidrick & Struggles International, Inc. (Nasdaq: HSII), the world's largest and premier executive search firm, today announced it has named Cruel World President, Chief Executive Officer and Founder Jeffrey Hyman as Chief Operating Officer of LeadersOnline, the company's Internet-enhanced recruiting subsidiary for mid-level executives and professionals.

Hyman, who will officially join LeadersOnline on March 1, 2001, founded Cruel World, Inc. -- formerly Career Central Corporation -- in 1996 as one of the first companies dedicated to mid-level Internet recruiting. It was acquired last year by executive recruitment firm Spencer Stuart.

Hyman holds a Master in Management (MBA) degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
