Heidrick & Struggles Names Piers Marmion to Board of Directors, Replacing David Kixmiller
CHICAGO, March 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Heidrick & Struggles International, Inc. (Nasdaq: HSII), the world's premier executive search and leadership consulting firm, today announced the appointment of Piers Marmion, 42, Chief Operating Officer of Heidrick & Struggles Executive Search and President of the International Division, to the company's Board of Directors.

The total number of HSI Group directors remains at twelve, including four from outside the company: Robert E. Knowling, Jr., Chairman and CEO, Internet Access Technologies Inc.; Robert Louis-Dreyfus, Chairman, LD Communications; Robert W. Shaw, CEO, Silicon Valley Internet Capital; and Carlene M. Ziegler, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Artisan Partners LP. Marmion fills the board seat vacated by David B. Kixmiller, whose term ends in June 2003. Kixmiller, 51, a senior partner with the company's International Technology practice, is
stepping aside to devote his full time to his CEO/COO and Board of Directors executive search practice.
