Professional Profile

Kathy Asencio is an engagement manager in Heidrick & Struggles’ New York office, and a member of the CEO & Board of Directors Practice. She has more than twenty years of executive search experience, and focuses on high profile CEO and board of director searches.

Kathy has worked primarily with senior chairman and industry legend Gerry Roche. She joined Heidrick & Struggles in an administrative role, and worked her way through the associate and senior associate roles before being named an engagement manager in 2010. Her early career includes administrative positions at J.D. Ross International, a boutique executive search firm, and at textile giants J.P. Stevens and Burlington Industries.

Education

Kathy graduated magna cum laude from Pace University in New York City with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
