Laura C. Brinsmaid is a principal in the Atlanta office of Heidrick & Struggles, and is a member of the firm’s global Consumer Markets, Chief Executive Officer & Board of Directors, and Financial Officers practices.
Her experience with Heidrick & Struggles includes searches for CEOs, COOs, and Presidents, as well as executives in most functional areas including finance, marketing, and human resources. Laura’s recent search assignments have focused on key general management, operations and finance roles for public, private and private equity-backed consumer products and services companies.
Earlier in her career, Laura held various financial management positions in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Laura was senior vice president and controller of 1st Performance National Bank, where she was also a member of the executive committee. As its chief financial officer, Laura directed the bank’s accounting, funds management, and other financial activities. Previously, she was vice president in the cash management division of Wachovia, where she managed depository products and customer service for the bank's largest corporate customers.
