Don Biskin is an active member of Heidrick & Struggles’ Life Sciences and Technology practices. He specializes in conducting senior-level assignments for multi-site not-for-profit and for-profit health care service organizations, managed care organizations, and health care information technology vendors.
A seasoned health care industry executive, Don has more than 25 years of diverse experience in both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Don held senior management positions with two national health care entities. He served as senior vice president of operations at the Rehab Hospital Services Corporation. Later, he became executive vice president of National Medical Enterprises and president of one of its subsidiaries. Don also held positions of increasing responsibility at Charter Medical Corporation.
Don began his career in academia as a professor in psychology at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and served under Governor Robb running the State Mental Health Department facilities for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
