Derick Boshard has completed numerous searches in the manufacturing, consumer products, pharmaceutical, retail, leisure and professional services industries, as well as various overseas assignments with multinational clients.
At Heidrick & Struggles, Derick has overseen leadership consulting services activities in South Africa. He has conducted numerous team and individual assessments, and has been actively involved in executive coaching with many of the top companies in South Africa.
Before entering executive search in 1984, Derick had been actively involved in human resources for many years, serving as the Human Resources Manager of Edgars Stores and human resources director at Johnson & Johnson. He also was an organizational development consultant in his own practice, where he gained invaluable exposure to a range of industries.
He is a registered practitioner with the South African Board for Personnel Practice.
