Meg Ambrose is responsible for the Information Officer Practice across Asia Pacific and for the global Technology Services Practice in Australia. In this capacity, she works with a broad range of clients with requirements for talent in professional services, including legal, IT services, telecommunications and internet.
Prior to her return to Australia, Meg was based in New York and Toronto driving a new stream of revenue for the firm as part of our Private Equity Practice. She was the managing partner of our Tokyo office for five years, working extensively with private equity clients and major corporations.
Before rejoining Heidrick & Struggles, Meg was a managing partner at Lancer Group, a successful Silicon Valley search firm focusing on the technology and telecommunications sectors. There, she managed CEO and senior-level engagements for the portfolio companies of leading venture capital and private equity firms.
Meg’s early career was spent at Heidrick & Struggles in Tokyo and Ramsey/Beirne Associates in New York, where she recruited executives during the internet boom in the mid to late 1990s.
