Meg Ambrose is responsible for the Global Technology & Services Practice across Australia and Asia. In this capacity, she works with a broad range of clients with requirements for talent in professional services including legal, IT services, telecommunications, technology and internet. Additionally, she runs the Information Technology Officers function for Asia Pacific.
Prior to her return to Australia, Meg was based in New York and Toronto driving a new stream of revenue for the firm as part of the Private Equity Practice. She was the managing partner of the firm's Tokyo office for five years, working extensively with private equity clients.
Before rejoining Heidrick & Struggles, Meg was a managing partner at Lancer Group, a successful Silicon Valley search firm focusing on the technology and telecommunications sectors. There she managed CEO and senior-level engagements for the portfolio companies of leading venture capital and private equity firms.
Meg’s early career was spent at Heidrick & Struggles in Tokyo and Ramsey/Beirne Associates in New York, where she recruited executives during the internet boom in the mid to late 1990s.
