Karen Choy-Xavier is a partner at Heidrick & Struggles based in Singapore, and is a senior member of the firm’s CEO & Board of Directors Practice. With a career spanning more than 20 years in executive search, she has completed high-level assignments across many industries including industrial, consumer and information technology. Karen focuses on building relationships with Asian-based businesses, particularly those incorporated in Singapore, as well as Fortune 500 companies across Asia Pacific.
A seasoned executive search consultant, Karen acts as a trusted advisor to numerous organizations in the Asia Pacific region and has often advised CEOs and boards on their senior leadership issues. She has also led projects involving CEO succession and the building out of senior management teams at the C-level.
Karen spent ten years as a partner with another executive search firm prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles in 2006. Her formative years were spent in sales and marketing roles for technology pioneers Wang and Digital Equipment.
