Taylor Griffin is an associate principal within Heidrick & Struggles’ Leadership Consulting Practice and works in the firm’s worldwide executive assessment and succession planning activities. She has experience working on a wide range of projects, including individual pre-hire or pre-invest assessments, top team and CEO assessments, CEO succession planning and board of directors effectiveness reviews. Her assessment work has driven selection decisions and individual coaching plans, as well as succession planning, executive coaching, and team- and organization-level change.
Taylor has worked on CEO succession projects around the world, partnering with clients to ensure that a successful leadership selection and transition occurs. She has also worked on chairman successions and board effectiveness reviews, partnering with the board of directors to help them with their overall effectiveness, committee effectiveness and individual director effectiveness. She has served a number of Fortune 500 clients spread across industries and geographies, including manufacturing, minerals and mining, technology, energy and financial services industries, as well as for a number of venture capital and private equity investors and their portfolio companies.
Prior to joining the Leadership Consulting Practice as a senior associate, Taylor was an executive search associate, primarily focusing on senior marketing and general management searches in consumer organizations.
Before joining Heidrick & Struggles in 2007, Taylor was an attorney with a mid-sized firm in Georgia, specializing in commercial litigation and bankruptcy matters in state and federal court. In that capacity, she served a number of financial, banking and corporate clients in trial and appellate work and in contract disputes.
