Mark Watt is an associate principal in Heidrick & Struggles' Johannesburg office and a member of the global Leadership Consulting Practice. Mark focuses mainly on leadership consulting and advisory work, servicing all industry sectors. He has partnered with private and public clients throughout Australia, Asia Pacific and other international markets, including startups and multinationals.
He has worked on major CEO succession projects and senior executive development with an emphasis on improving leadership performance and maximizing employee potential. He has defined, designed and delivered interventions for senior talent and teams.
Mark is particularly interested in the sustainability of change and behavior aligned to business results.
Before joining the Leadership Consulting Practice, Mark spent two and half years as a senior associate and associate in the Chief Executive Officer & Board of Directors and Education & Social Enterprise practices. In these roles he completed both board and senior education appointments for Australia’s leading public companies, universities and not-for-profit organisations.
Earlier in his career, Mark held various positions with a global Danish pharmaceutical company and a United States-based, global FMCG business.
