Mark Burns is an associate principal in Heidrick & Struggles' Technology Practice focusing on CEO and VP-level searches for venture backed and publicly traded technology companies. He joined the Heidrick & Struggles' Boston office through the acquisition of IronHill Partners, a leading national search boutique servicing the technology sector. He works with companies in application software, infrastructure/security software, life sciences, internet, and networking systems.
Before joining IronHill Partners, Mark was the human capital partner for Vesbridge Partners/St. Paul Venture Capital, an early stage venture capital fund focused on IT investments. Prior to Vesbridge, Mark held recruiting leadership roles with Vitale Caturano & Co and Arthur Andersen.
Mark began his career with Andersen's high technology practice focusing on SEC and M&A transactions with venture backed and newly public companies in the technology sector where he became a certified public accountant.
