As principal at Heidrick & Struggles, Ameet is a key member of the Asia Pacific Financial Services Practice, with specific sector focus across corporate banking & global markets across North & South East Asia. He currently leads Heidrick & Struggles’ corporate banking coverage in the region. In addition, Ameet continues to focus on global markets FICC coverage, with a strong track record across FX & rates sales, trading, structuring, research & electronic markets.
Ameet joined Heidrick & Struggles’ Singapore office in 2008 before relocating to Hong Kong in 2011. Prior to this, he worked for Akamai Financial Markets, a leading boutique executive search firm. Having originally joined the firm in 2003 in their Hong Kong office, Ameet was responsible for helping to build Akamai’s business and brand in Asia. He was actively focused on originating & executing projects within fixed income and structured products, successfully completing searches in over twelve financial centers across Asia. Ameet was also instrumental in helping develop Akamai’s business intelligence product suite and completed a number of consulting driven assignments.
Ameet started his executive search career in 2001 with TMP Worldwide, working in their financial institutions team to cover Hong Kong based clients.
