Tim has 20 years of consulting experience working with leading organizations building their leadership strength, team effectiveness, and management capabilities. He has led client engagements across a range of industries in Australia, the UK, NZ, Asia and South Africa.
At Heidrick & Struggles, Tim is currently leading the senior executive leadership development activity for a domestic and international airline based in Australia, as well as leading two CEO succession planning assignments - the first, for a leading global action-sports company, and the second, for one of Australia's largest and most respected legal firms.
Tim has previous experience working with top tier management consulting firms, The LEK Partnership and Bain Consulting. Immediately prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Tim was the MD of Performance Integrity, a specialist consultancy focusing on improving workplace performance and maximizing employee potential. Much of his recent work has centered on the drivers of human performance excellence, and the challenges of leading teams and organizations to create environments where 'excellence in human performance becomes an inevitable outcome'.
Tim has also spent time as the CEO of a leading global surfing company. His time at this company was characterised by an unwavering commitment to values-based leadership resulting in a highly successful period of organisational transformation and uplift in performance.
Tim has studied and worked closely with globally respected business academics who were pioneers in the study of human motivation and applying scientific knowledge to assist organizations optimize human resources.
