Dr Stefan Bötzel is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Hamburg office and a member of the global Leadership Consulting Practice. He focuses on leadership issues, change management and implementation projects, working with multinational and German companies in the consumer goods, energy, industrial and service industries.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Stefan was a member of the executive board at the publicly listed BayWa AG Munich, an international trading and service company. He was responsible for sales and profitability of the Agribusiness.
Previously, Stefan was a partner at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, where he established and fostered the business in different consulting practices and client groups. This included corporate development/value management; operational and financial restructuring; M&A/funding; partnering/alliances; organisation/corporate governance; and corporate transformation/change management.
Stefan began his career within a German food wholesaler.
