Julia Kim leads the Industrial Practice and covers the technology sector in the Seoul office of Heidrick & Struggles. She has a wealth of diverse experience that includes her own executive search firm, leading a sales and marketing team, and engaging in management and IT consulting.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Jiyeon established her own search firm in Korea focusing on placing executives in local and multinational businesses in heavy industries, manufacturing, consulting, hospitality. Prior to her experience in the executive search industry, Jiyeon was the director of sales & marketing for the Hyatt Regency Incheon and thereafter the Park Hyatt Seoul, and was an integral member of the Hyatt International Team that opened these two luxurious properties. Jiyeon also worked as a management consultant with A.T. Kearney Seoul advising clients in the automotive, telecommunications, consumer and manufacturing industries. Jiyeon was also a software engineer with Accenture.
