Nina Naerby is leading the Heidrick & Struggles’ Copenhagen office, handling Danish and Norwegian clients, and is a member of the global Leadership Consulting, Consumer Markets and Industrial practices. She focuses in particular on searches for CEOs, HR, marketing, and sales & strategy officers. In addition, she works with organizational development, hereunder assessment, succession planning and talent management.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Nina was a partner at Cultivator, a Scandinavian consulting company, with responsibility for their clients’ talent management, organizational design and c-level recruitment.
Previously, she was human resources director at IKEA where she was responsible for all country HR-related activities and also had a leading role in the development of IKEA’s European Leadership Assessment Centre where she also later on contributed as an assessor.

Nina began her earlier career in marketing and sales, having held Scandinavian, European and global roles at Quaker Oats, McDonald’s, Oticon and Kilroy Travels International.

Nina received an MSc in economics from the Copenhagen Business School, focusing on strategic planning and international business. Nina is Norwegian by origin and is fluent in Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and English. Nina has numerous certifications in regard to ability tests, personality profiles, motivation questionnaires, team roles and assessment tools.
