Part of the Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice, Heidrick & Struggles’ Research and; Development team is comprised of experts with significant experience in recruiting high-performing R&D and medical/science leadership for clients for large and specialty pharma companies, biotech, contract research providers and research institutes. Many of our consultants hold academic degrees in medicine and related subjects, and have worked in the industry for many years.

Our team is particularly strong in emerging markets, with one-third of our assignments in R&D coming from the emerging economies of Asia, Latin America and Central and Eastern Europe. We focus on the importance of client culture and context when helping clients build high-performance R&D leadership teams.
