Sam Burman is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ London office and a member of the Global Digital and Global Technology & Services Practices.
He focuses on digital transformation within corporate enterprises; scaling, internationalizing, and maturing digital pure-plays; and supporting advisory firms with industry hires to support their digital assets and work streams. In addition, Sam guides organizations to navigate and leverage the transformative technology suite of artificial intelligence, data science, internet of things, virtual reality, augmented reality, and 3D printing.
Sam works across a variety of industries, including consumer internet, gaming, retail, and media and telecommunications for public, private, and equity-backed organizations.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Sam led the digital & technology practice for an international boutique executive search firm and established the IT leadership practice for a FTSE-listed global recruitment firm. Both roles covered UK and Europe across multiple sectors.
Sam holds a bachelor of arts (Honors) degree in history from Oxford Brookes University.
