Melissa Dixon is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Melbourne office. As a member of the firm’s global Consumer Markets Practice, Melissa specializes in several sectors in Australia and New Zealand, including media and entertainment, consumer digital, fashion and luxury, retail, and hospitality and leisure.
Melissa has extensive media, consumer, brand, strategy, consumer digital, product, and business operational management experience in international markets at senior levels. Her portfolio of
placements includes leadership roles in general management, retail, merchandising, strategy, and commercial and finance functions for local and global media and entertainment, and retail and consumer businesses in listed, private, private equity and not-for profit organizations.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Melissa worked at The Walt Disney Company for 15 years in various regional and market leadership roles based in Paris, London, Hong Kong, and Sydney in the media and consumer products divisions. Most recently, she served as general manager of Disney Channels Australia and New Zealand.
Melissa earned her bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Melbourne and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
