Rebecca Foreman Janjic is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles' San Francisco office and conducts searches on a worldwide basis for the firm’s Global Technology Practice. She also leads the firms Venture Capital Practice and co-leads the firm’s Big Data & Analytics Practice. Her search practice focuses on recruitment of VP and C-level executives within software, internet, and technology services companies.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, she was a partner with Polachi, a regional retained executive search firm where she provided search services to software, internet, clean tech, and other technology clients, both private and public. Prior to Polachi, Rebecca was a senior manager at EMC Corporation, where she was responsible for executive recruiting and global staffing programs.
Earlier in her career, Rebecca worked for Aubin International, a Massachusetts-based retained executive search firm. She later joined another international search firm's Boston high technology practice, where she led their New England CIO functional practice and focused on software and emerging technology clients. In addition, Rebecca was a director of executive recruiting for Internet Capital Group, a publicly traded incubator of business-to-business software and services companies.
Rebecca holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and certificates of study in Russian and international relations from Saint Anselm College. She also holds a masters in business administration from Simmons College School of Management in Boston.
