David Joseph is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles' London office and is a member of the global Industrial Practice. Initially, David spent nearly three years working in the firm's Melbourne office before returning to London.
David works principally in natural resources, with a particular focus on mining, metals, and energy sectors. He supports the sector across the value chain, including working with producers, explorers, engineering, construction, and contracting firms through to equipment manufacturers and other service providers that support the sector. David also has a depth of experience advising organizations which finance and sponsor the sector, such as buy-out and private capital funds.
David works on assignments with a high degree of complexity, supporting organizations seeking senior executives with the ability to work effectively across cultures and geographies. He also advises organizations on succession planning, board effectiveness, and broader leadership development. He has completed assignments around the world in Australia, the Middle East, South East and Central Asia, Europe, the CIS, North & West Africa, and the Americas.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, David worked for another executive search firm in London. He spent his early career working for an international outsourcing business.
David holds a bachelor of science (Hons) in business administration & management with information systems from Oxford Brookes University.
