Kristin Mehta is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Chicago office where she co-leads the US Digital Practice. She is also a core member of the Marketing Officers and Global Consumer Markets Practices, specializing in senior level search assignments for technology- and internet-driven companies.
Kristin helps companies navigate their digital transformation by connecting them with the right talent in general management, marketing, customer experience, ecommerce, omnichannel, communications and sales. Clients include, American Express, Betterment, Disney ABC Television, Carbon3D, Dolby Laboratories, General Electric, Hewlett Packard, One Technologies, Royal Caribbean, Stanley Black & Decker, Staples, Total Wine & More, Travelers, United Capital, The Irvine Company, Vanguard and ZAGG.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Kristin spent more than a decade as a public relations consultant building consumer-facing programs, developing corporate communications strategies and producing award-winning events, all in effort to build and protect brands. Most recently she owned her own public relations consultancy and developed national campaigns for brands including Starbucks, Sara Lee and National Dairy Council. Kristin started her Chicago agency career at GolinHarris where she managed corporate and consumer programs with a focus on crisis management, media relations and internal communications.
Kristin has bachelors’ degrees in journalism and public relations from Loras College.
