Overview

TA Mitchell is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles' London office and a member of the product management team with a primary focus on supporting consulting services with digital journeys. She has more than 30 years of global experience in consulting, specializing in supporting organizations, teams and boards to gain momentum and pace to achieve their strategic ambitions. She ensures a strong emphasis on providing alignment and clarity of direction to enhance board and team dynamics to move at pace.

Experience

TA led a team to operationalize Heidrick & Struggles’ intellectual property on Accelerating Performance for the organization, team, leader, and board. She continues to lead product management across all consulting offerings. TA has a background in large-scale program management, including IT-enabled change. Her experience crosses several sectors, including finance, telecommunications, manufacturing, oil and gas, and outsourcing. She has a particular focus on accelerating board and team dynamics to accelerate performance.

TA has led a number of high-profile projects, working with executive teams to build individual and team capabilities needed to shape and lead a major growth agenda; working with the top team to provide clarity on the strategic intent to become a major global outsourcer and then built their operating model, and organizational and team behaviors to underpin the future strategy; and leading large scale assessment of the top talent in a number of sectors to focus on the development of the leaders aligned to the corporate strategy. TA has worked with the FRC providing a response to the European Commission on the UK ‘Comply or Explain Model’ for the London Business School Center for Corporate Governance.
