Darcio Crespi is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles' Industrial Practice based in the São Paulo office, and is also a member of the global Business & Professional Services and Technology practices. He has served as managing partner of the firm for the Latin America South Cone countries for six years, and currently serves as the managing partner of the Brazilian operation.
In management consulting, he has conducted projects and studies focusing on strategic planning, corporate finance, and organization restructuring and development. In talent management consulting, he has developed extensive experience in the industrial and professional service areas, including executive search, succession plan, executive assessments, and other leadership services at C level positions for Latin American and global firms.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Darcio was Vice President of Arthur D Little, Director of the Latin America Directorate, and the firm's global strategy practice leader. Previously, he held managerial positions in a large petrochemical firm and an investment bank.
Darcio received a master's degree in engineering economy from Stanford University, a post-graduate degree in business administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and a degree in civil engineering from Escola Politécnica of the University of São Paulo (Poli-USP). A native Brazilian Portuguese speaker, he is also fluent in English, Spanish and Italian.
