Gabino Stuyck is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Madrid office and leads the Technology Practice in Iberia and Latin America. He is a member of the global Digital Officers and Technology practices and the Disruptive Innovators team. He partners with clients to develop long term relationships through efficient hiring processes, defining position requirements, screening potential candidates, and personally executing each search. Gabino’s functional search experience includes chief data officer, chief digital officer, chief analytics officer, data science, artificial intelligence, CEO, CTO, CISO, machine learning, and general management roles.

Gabino has more than 15 years’ experience in global executive mandates, working across various sectors including technology, digital, consulting, and advisory on both domestic and international search engagements. Proficient in digital transformation within corporate entities, he also has regional expertise in Spain, Portugal, and Latin America and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Gabino was a partner with Amrop Seeliger y Conde where he focused on the US and Latin American market from the Houston and Miami offices.

Gabino got his start in the search industry working across multiple regions as a director with SThree plc. He played an active role in the company's international strategic development in the Middle East and Latin America, and contributed to the firm's expansion in Qatar, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, and the U.S.

He started his career in banking at Citigroup where he completed the global management associate program before moving into a role focused on private banking in Dubai.

Gabino is currently based in Madrid, Spain, after living in the Emirates, Qatar, UK, Brazil, and the US for more than 11 years.

Education:

Gabino earned a master's degree in international business from the European Business School Paris and a bachelor's degree in law from Complutense University of Madrid in Spain.
