Mark Zorbas is a principal in Heidrick & Struggle’s Houston office and a member of Heidrick Consulting. Mark has more than 20 years of experience in leadership development, talent management, culture transformation and leading organizational and team effectiveness.
A trusted advisor and business partner to senior executives, Mark has a strong record of implementing impactful leadership and workplace culture strategies across culturally diverse organizations. His industry expertise spans the financial services, oil & gas, mining, energy infrastructure & technology, and education sectors.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Mark held various roles at CB&I, a global energy infrastructure and technology company with over 40,000 employees. He most recently served as chief human resources officer where he led the organization’s strategic capabilities through structured learning and performance, leadership development and management of talent programs and processes. Before that, Mark was the vice president of Organizational Development & Training (OD&T) and was also the Director of OD&T for CB&I’s Engineering Construction Operating Group globally, based in Australia.
Mark has lectured on Business and Management at Central Institute of Technology in Australia, and was an adjunct lecturer at the University of Notre Dame.
Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in business, postgraduate diploma in business education, master’s degree in educational psychology, and recently completed the Advanced Executive Human Resources Program at the University of Michigan.
