Mark H. Livingston

Overview

Mark Livingston is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Houston office and a member of the CEO & Board of Directors Practice focusing on leadership assessment, search, and succession planning. Previously, he was global managing partner of the Natural Resources Practice covering the oil and gas, chemicals, metals and mining, agriculture, and bio-based materials sectors. His client work focuses on CEO and other C-suite and board recruitment across oil and gas, chemicals, alternative and renewable energy, as well as EPC and industrial equipment and service companies serving these sectors.

Experience

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Mark spent nearly 14 years working in a variety of finance and purchasing roles. Most recently, he was the regional finance manager for Americas Manufacturing, responsible for the financial functions of nine U.S. and Latin American refineries for Royal Dutch Shell PLC. Mark began his career at PPG Industries, a leading chemical and coatings manufacturer.

He is fluent in German and has a working knowledge of Portuguese.

Marks serves as chairman of the South-Central Board of Trustees of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and is a member of the Corporate Work Study Committee of Cristo Rey Jesuit.
