Christopher McCloskey

Overview

Chris McCloskey is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles' Hong Kong office and leader of the Industrial Goods & Services and Robotics & Internet of Things sectors. He is a member of the Supply Chain & Operations Officers and Digital Officers practices focusing on clients in the technology, services, and alternative energy sectors.

Experience

Chris helps leading companies from technology to utilities meet cost, growth, and organizational goals by identifying and placing leaders in operations, supply chain, procurement, logistics, and innovation, including emerging areas such as industrial internet of things and supply chain management software.

Chris joined Heidrick & Struggles after 10 years in operations and strategy consulting, most recently at PwC's Strategy (formerly Booz & Co) where he was a director helping to build the cleantech advisory practice in the technology and utilities sectors. At PwC Chris led major consulting projects including the launch of a new energy services company for a global industrial technology company and several cost reduction and partnership initiatives at a major telecommunications company.

Prior to PwC, Chris worked as a manager for PRTM Management Consultants (acquired by PwC in 2011), where he focused on operations strategy, product development processes, supply chain, and M&A casework. During his tenure at PRTM he earned six sigma black belt certification and worked on a variety of large-scale consulting assignments across consumer products, industrials, and utilities including a product innovation transformation at a $6 billion food company and an enterprise-wide cost reduction initiative at a $6 billion building products manufacturer.
