David Pruner is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Houston office and a member of the CEO & Board of Directors and Industrial practices. He specializes in the energy sector, focusing on senior executive and board-level searches in the oil and gas industry and private equity-backed firms. He also is head of North American Infrastructure where he places investment professionals and industry executives.
Experience
David has more than 25 years of significant energy experience. Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, he was a senior vice president in consulting and account management for more than a decade at Wood Mackenzie, a leading global consulting and research firm for the energy industry. Before that, he was an executive at Azurix/Enron, The Coastal Corporation, and several other energy firms.
Earlier in his career, David worked in financial services as treasurer and director of sales at Bridgewater Associates, and in the energy division of Manufacturers Hanover Trust.
