Karl’s approach to building high-performing teams is deeply rooted in his lifelong commitment to studying neurobiological science and the modeling of relationships, which plays a vital role in effectively advising CEOs and business leaders. His understanding of the nuances of interpersonal dynamics in teams and organizations is central to his work with clients, guiding cultural transformation and enhancing leadership strategies.

Prior to Heidrick & Struggles, Karl spent 20 years leading The Culture Institute of Australia, where he consulted with leading global organizations like NAB, Bupa, Macquarie Bank, Microsoft, and PwC. These experiences sharpened his ability to align organizational cultures with their strategic objectives, demonstrating the value of strong relational insights in achieving business goals.

Karl is an Adjunct Associate Professor and has presented at TEDx and CEDA. Throughout his career, he has consistently focused on deepening his understanding of inter-generational transformation and relationship dynamics.
