Overview

Mark Zorbas is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Houston office where he leads the Americas Industrial Practice for Heidrick Consulting. He has more than 20 years of experience building organizational capability and shaping culture, working across different sectors and geographies. Mark partners with clients on organization-critical issues such as accelerating the performance of leaders and teams, shaping culture, and facilitating business transformation and change.

Experience

A trusted advisor to senior executives, his industry expertise spans the financial services, mining, energy, manufacturing, technology, consumer, transportation, and education sectors.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Mark spent much of his career as a member of senior leadership teams with responsibility for all aspects of organizational effectiveness and talent. Most recently, Mark was the senior vice president and chief people officer at Chicago Bridge and Iron (CB&I), a global energy infrastructure and technology company with more than 40,000 employees. He started with CB&I as the director of organizational development and talent (OD&T) for the global oil and gas business, based in Perth, Australia, and was appointed later to vice president of OD&T, relocating to Texas.

Mark began his career in Australia, working with the federal government in commercial law and securities regulation, before transitioning to education, teaching business and management at the Central Institute of Technology (CIT), and vocational education at the University Notre Dame.
