Charles Moore

Overview

Charlie Moore is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ London office and regional leader of strategic accounts in Europe. He is a member of the Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice, managing a number of global client relationships, including extensive experience with complex international mandates.

Experience

With more than 25 years of experience in the search and leadership advisory industry, Charlie leads global teams serving clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices, diagnostics, healthcare services, private equity, and venture capital sectors. His client work focuses on global and regional mandates across a broad range of roles and functions.

Charlie began his tenure with Heidrick & Struggles in the London office where he worked with the chairman of the firm on top-tier C-level and non-executive director positions. He has also held a number of internal roles, including serving as the global lead for the firm’s Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice and chair of the firm’s Global Quality Council.

Previously, Charlie was the managing consultant for a division of one of Europe’s leading executive search and consulting firms for almost four years. His consulting experience included projects in reward and remuneration, career management, and coaching. He is a qualified psychometric assessor, and regularly advises clients on issues around board appointments, succession planning, assessment and diversity. His career has also included general management, sales and marketing roles in the publishing world.

Education

Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Graduate

Philanthropy and Service

Charlie completed his five-year commissioned service in the British Army focused on training, assessment and leadership development. Charlie also led peacekeeping troops with the United Nations.
