Phyllis Schneble is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ New York office and co-leads the Health Tech sector. She is a member of the Healthcare & Life Sciences and Consumer practices. Phyllis specializes in recruiting senior executives at the board, CEO, president, and general management level including marketing, sales, strategy, and digital innovation officers for managed care, health systems, pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices and diagnostics, nutrition, healthcare technology, and multi-site retail health platforms.
Experience
Phyllis advises companies and leaders in the dynamic intersection of consumer and technology in the health and wellness space. Her specialty is placing senior leaders in transformational roles driving change in large, established healthcare companies, and placing operators and value creators in high growth or early-stage transformational companies born out of the new healthcare ecosystem.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Phyllis led sales and marketing for dLife (for your diabetes life), a venture capital-backed digital start-up with consumer-facing properties in web, video, social media, and mobile channels. They developed data-driven, content-rich, cross-platform patient engagement programs clinically proven to increase self-care behaviors and improve health outcomes, selling these solutions to payers and providers.
Having worked for Ogilvy & Mather, Foote Cone & Belding, and J. Walter Thompson, Phyllis built a strong foundation in marketing and advertising across a broad range of verticals including technology (IBM), automotive (Ford Motor Co.), and financial services (American Express) before focusing exclusively on healthcare. As a senior executive at the genesis of direct-to-consumer advertising in healthcare, she has been involved in launching new products and new marketing programs across a wide variety of therapeutic conditions for many Fortune 500 pharmaceutical and device companies as well as early-stage ventures.
