Maliha Jilani is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Dubai office. She leads executive search work in Pakistan and is a member of the Education, Non-Profit and Social Enterprise Practice in the Middle East & North Africa region.
As a key member of the Education Practice, Maliha has led engagements for clients across the higher education, K-12 and private education sectors, including senior academic and functional roles across the Middle East.
Maliha has worked for 15 years in senior global and cross-industry roles in management consulting, project management, and executive search. Her clients have included governments, multinationals, family conglomerates, and M&A clients in sectors including higher education, education markets, non-profit, consulting, financial services, and hospitality.
Previously, she worked as a managing consultant for IBM Business Consulting Services (previously PricewaterhouseCoopers) where she managed financial transformation change programs for private and public sector clients. In this role Maliha helped companies across the United States to design and implement organizational change through recruiting, training, coaching, and organizational alignment.
Maliha has also worked with individual senior executives to initiate, drive, and lead strategic change, organizational redesign, and business process improvement at Fortune 500 firms in multiple industry sectors. She is fluent in English and Urdu and has a working knowledge of French. She also understands basic Arabic.
Maliha holds a bachelor of science in commerce (with concentrations in finance and international business) from University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce.
