Based on a survey of 420 executives across sectors and in eight countries—Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and the United States—we identified a top group, only 10% of companies surveyed, that we call the DE&I Vanguard. Executives at these companies said they were taking eight actions that, together, suggest the companies are treating DE&I like a strategic imperative.
