Stephen Schwanhausser is a partner with Heidrick & Struggles based in New York City, working with large Fortune 500 companies as well as smaller private companies and private equity backed ventures. Functionally, he specializes in sales and marketing searches for chief marketing and sales officers and their staff. He also conducts searches for senior operating roles in consumer facing and product-oriented companies. He is the practice associate coordinator for the firm's Marketing, Sales & Strategy Officer Practice, as well as being a core member of the firm’s Consumer Markets Practice.
Stephen’s work crosses a variety of industries including consumer goods and services, industrial, financial services and life sciences companies. He assists organizations in building their commercial capabilities to drive revenue, brand value and customer loyalty. Key to this success is balancing the interaction between sales and marketing in each unique context to drive increased revenue.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Stephen worked for Kraft Foods in sales leadership, trade marketing, planning and analysis roles. He focused on New York-based customers and key accounts driving sales growth across the Kraft portfolio.
Stephen is a graduate of Bucknell University where he was a double major in English and psychology as well as being a division one athlete and captain.
