Adam Howe is a principal based in Heidrick & Struggles’ London office, and is a member of Heidrick Consulting.
Prior to joining Heidrick Consulting, Adam was the founder and CEO of the boutique consultancy Stop. Stop. worked with leaders and managers of global companies to kill unnecessary internal complexity and to create simpler, smarter, and more agile organizations.
Before Stop., Adam was a partner at Simplicity Consulting, an advisory firm which helped the world’s largest organizations identify complexity in all aspects of their operating model. Simplicity Consulting wrote the book From Complexity To Simplicity and developed the Global Simplicity Index, a piece of seminal research conducted with Warwick Business School, which examined the relationship between performance and complexity in the world’s largest 200 businesses.
Prior to Simplicity Consulting, Adam was a practice lead at organizational performance and culture change consultancy Mind Gym, where he led all work in the energy, transportation and public sector. In this role, Adam oversaw award winning change programs for a major UK energy company and a large UK water company.
Adam started his career in Accenture’s Strategy Practice. Throughout his career, Adam has worked internationally and across a range of sectors helping organizations transform performance by enabling their people to be more effective.
Adam has a bachelor’s in economics and a master’s in international management, both from the University of Exeter.
