Business Closure and Teach-Out Policy
In the event of a program closure, Heidrick & Struggles (the accredited organization) is committed to protecting and supporting enrolled learners, minimizing disruption, and providing a pathway for learners to complete their education or transition to an appropriate alternative.
Depending on the circumstances, the organization will:
• Notify affected learners of the closure and provide clear information regarding timing, next steps, and available options.
• Where feasible, allow enrolled learners to complete the program through an appropriate teach-out arrangement.
• Where completion is not feasible, support learners in identifying appropriate alternative programs or providers.
• Provide learners with relevant records or documentation needed to support completion or transition.
• Address applicable financial obligations in accordance with organizational policies and requirements.
• Complete any required notifications to relevant accreditation, regulatory, or other governing bodies.
In the event of a program closure, the organization will establish an appropriate teach-out plan identifying affected learners, completion or transition arrangements, key communications, responsible stakeholders, and the anticipated timeline.
