Overview
Sam Burman is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ London office and the global managing partner of the Artificial Intelligence, Crypto & Digital Assets, Cybersecurity, Health Tech, and Industrial specialty practices. He also runs the firm’s Disruptive Innovators incubation initiative.
Experience
In addition to his global leadership role, Sam partners with clients in high-growth digital industries to support them on CEO, board, and general management appointments. He also has expertise in placing chief technology, chief product, and chief digital officers in both high-growth and enterprise environments.
Sam works in both public and private settings across a variety of industries, including consumer internet, marketplaces, health tech, gaming, retail, e-commerce, media & entertainment, and telecommunications.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Sam led the digital & technology practice of an international boutique executive search firm and established the IT leadership practice for an FTSE-listed global recruitment firm. Both roles covered UK and Europe across multiple sectors.
