Axel de Schietere is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Paris office and is a member of the global CFO and Financial Services Practice.
Experience
With more than 15 years of experience in executive search and corporate finance, Axel has conducted numerous senior and C-level assignments in France and across Europe, with a focus on CFOs, IR, treasurers, and heads of M&A.
Prior to joining the firm, Axel spent eight years developing the finance practice in an international executive search firm for both public and private companies across Europe. Additionally, he served clients in private equity, investment banking, and asset management.
Axel began his career with Credit Lyonnais in New York doing aircraft financing. Later, he was a credit analyst with Banque O.B.C., ABN-AMRO in Paris, following the media industry. As a senior auditor with Deloitte, Axel served clients in the middle-market sector.
He is fluent in English and French.
