Marie-Hélène De Coster is the partner in charge of Heidrick & Struggles’ Belux region and a partner in the Brussels and Paris offices. She specializes in CEO, C-suite, and board appointments, including board evaluations, within the global healthcare and life sciences sector. She also advises on government affairs matters across a range of industries in Europe.
Experience
Marie-Hélène has 25 years of executive search experience, including as a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Brussels office from 2006 to 2012 and as a managing director at a board, CEO, and C-suite-focused executive search firm. She rejoined Heidrick & Struggles in 2016.
Before transitioning to executive search, Marie-Hélène spent 14 years with Dow Chemical, developing extensive expertise in global marketing, sales, and asset management. She also led complex supply chain initiatives across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, working with major regional manufacturing operations.
Marie-Hélène is a co-founder of a Belgian network of specialized medical clinics. A certified coach, she is a native speaker of Dutch and French, is fluent in English, and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
