Janelle has over 11 years of experience in executive search, serving clients across higher education, research, health, and not-for-profit sectors, particularly organizations focused on societal impact.
Janelle’s executive search experience spans senior executive, academic, and administrative appointments for universities across Australia. She leads searches for CEO, director, and portfolio leadership roles for organizations in Australia and globally.
Before joining Heidrick and Struggles, Janelle was the country managing partner for a boutique search firm in Australia.
Prior to her career in executive search, Janelle held senior management positions at the Australian National University and the University of Newcastle.
She has broad experience in sports administration, including leadership as the general manager for Netball Tasmania. She also held senior marketing and communications roles in the mining and not-for-profit sectors.
