Richard N. Eidinger M.D.

Overview

Dr. Richard Eidinger is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles' Los Angeles office. He recruits at the board, chief executive, and senior executive levels in life sciences companies. He focuses particularly on those in general management, research and development, medical affairs, and clinical leadership. Recently, he was managing partner of the firm’s Life Sciences Practice in the Americas.

Experience

Richard’s clients include some of the best-known names in health care, as well as those financial sponsors that invest in the segment. His advisory style is stakeholder-oriented and aims to enhance enterprise value.

Richard joined Heidrick & Struggles from BankAmerica Ventures, where he was an entrepreneur in residence (EIR). He has served on both private and public boards of directors.

Prior to his search career, Richard was an executive with Aetna and FHP (now United Healthcare), where he held senior functional, business development, and general management roles. 
He is American Board-certified in internal medicine and licensed to practice medicine in California, Arizona, and Ontario.
