Overview

Anne Garrigus is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Chicago office and a member of the Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice. She partners with public, private, and investor-backed healthcare services and health tech organizations to recruit senior executives and board members.

Experience

Anne has more than a decade of healthcare leadership experience spanning value-based care, payer–provider partnerships, growth strategy, and private equity portfolio operations. She brings an operator’s perspective, helping clients identify leaders who can build, scale, and lead in complex, evolving healthcare environments.

Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Anne was a vice president at a healthcare private equity firm, working with portfolio companies in nephrology and primary care. Prior to that, she had leadership roles at Oak Street Health through its IPO and acquisition by CVS Health, leading payer partnerships, advancing value-based care initiatives, and building high-performing teams across growth, operations, and strategy.

Earlier in her career, Anne worked in business development in digital health and investor relations. She began her career in corporate banking at BMO Financial Group.
