Jorge Gouveia de Oliveira is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ London and Lisbon offices and a member of the Industrial Practice, specializing in the mining & metals sector, and the CEO & Board of Directors Practice.
Experience
He is a trusted advisor for both public and private industrial companies of all sizes around the world and has advised the boards of several leading global clients on CEO succession, chairman succession, and complex board build-ups including leadership team and non-executive directors.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles’, Jorge was a Partner in the industrial and natural resources practice of another leading executive search firm and led the firm’s global metals & mining practice. Prior to that he was a consultant in the industrial practice of another leading executive search firm for more than seven years. In that role, he led the global metals & mining practice, established the UK supply chain and procurement practice, and worked with clients across the industrial sector. Previously, Jorge headed corporate development for Nyrstar at the time of the company’s public listing.
Earlier in his career, Jorge held various senior corporate finance roles at Monitor Group, Credit Suisse First Boston, JP Capital International, and JPMorgan Chase.
