Overview

Olivier Jean is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Montréal office and a member of the Leadership Assessment Practice. He leads the firm’s leadership advisory services across Quebec, including leadership development, assessment, succession planning, and executive search mandates. Olivier partners with boards and executive teams to identify, assess, and develop the critical leadership capabilities required to optimize organizational performance.

Experience

Olivier has extensive experience advising Canadian and international organizations on CEO, executive team, and board-level succession, assessment, and recruitment. He has a global perspective, grounded in hands-on experience across North America, Asia, and Europe, where he has designed and delivered talent solutions that support organizations through complex transformations and periods of significant change.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Olivier was with another global executive search firm based in Toronto, where he advised Fortune 500 boards and executive teams on leadership development, executive assessment, and team effectiveness.

Olivier began his career in neuropsychology, working with executives to optimize cognitive performance, resilience, and decision-making under pressure. His commitment and drive to help individuals unlock their full potential while sustaining high levels of performance both professionally and personally enable organizations to achieve meaningful results.

Olivier’s understanding of Quebec’s cultural dynamics bolsters client impact when delivering both regional and international mandates. He is fluent in French and English.
