Philipp combines startup agility with corporate insight to foster sustainable growth and innovation. He has a proven track record leading exits, carve-outs, and full-lifecycle execution across growth and turnaround of venture capital and corporate-backed software ventures.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Philipp led renewable energy software solutions as managing director at Ampero, BayWa r.e AG’s software spin-off.

Philipp founded eWings.com, a SaaS business travel platform acquired by Hogg Robinson Group, and humly, a digital mental health coaching platform.

Before that, Philipp was head of venture architects at Mercedes-Benz AG’s company builder and innovation lab. He is also a business angel who invests in early-stage startups.
