Jan Hendrik Kraus is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Dubai office and a member of Heidrick Consulting focusing on financial services. He has more than 23 years in financial services and consulting with a strong focus on strategy development and implementation as well as helping clients improve organizational effectiveness.
Experience
For the last four years, Jan Hendrik has been a senior partner with another international executive search firm, responsible for financial services advisory in EMEA. He led HR transformation, culture, and post-merger integration in the region. Jan Hendrik works with boards, CEOs, and global functional and regional teams across multiple industries on organizational alignment, leadership engagement, team effectiveness, and change management.
Earlier, Jan Hendrik was a general manager of group strategy and a member of the group executive team at Emirates NBD. He managed the strategic project portfolio of the bank, including implementing segment strategies, creating organizational efficiencies, enhancing the customer experience, and identifying new business opportunities, and coordinated the integration activities in three M&A situations.
Before that, Jan Hendrik spent seven years with McKinsey & Company in strategy consulting focusing on financial services, particularly retail banking, wealth management, and insurance. He began his career with Deutsche Bank in Germany.
